Solar PV FIT Rates Changing
Ofgem have confirmed the feed-in tariff rates (FiT) for solar photovoltaic technology for the period starting 1 July 2013 until 1 October 2013.
The periodic reduction of feed-in tariffs on the basis of deployment has been reviewed again.
Solar PV Systems Registered from 1 July 2013 – 30 September 2013
The multi-installation rate applies to any new installation where the generator already receives FIT payments for 25 or more other eligible installations.
Unless your property is exempt (this should be proved by an energy assessor) you must ensure you are eligible for the standard Feed-In-Tariff payment.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required for the property where the panels are to be installed. The property must reach EPC band D or above, otherwise the lower rates of payments will apply as detailed above.
Rates quoted in this table are the rates payable for current generation, for historic rates please refer to OFGEM.
