COVID-19 Update: Norcroft Energy services and electrical emergencies
The current COVID-19 situation is on everyone’s minds and following the announcement made last night we wanted to get in touch to reassure you that the health and wellbeing of our clients, staff, our family and their families is still very much our top priority.
We will no longer be carrying out non-essential electrical or renewable energy works. However, we do have an electrician on stand-by to attend to Emergencies only. This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will be categorised as those customers who are vulnerable and without power.
Initially we will endeavour to try & deal with these call outs over the phone but should we need to go out to site we will need to establish the risks & follow the latest government guidelines:
- We need to ensure no one at the property is isolating because you have been displaying symptoms or being diagnosed with the virus or because you have been in touch with someone who is displaying symptoms or has been diagnosed with the virus.
- Can our Engineer access the mains unit without having to walk through your property.
- If we attend we will ask that you respect the Social Distancing guidelines when discussing or describing your fault and leave our electricians to complete their work alone.
- Our Electricians will continue to follow good hygiene practice.
As previously mentioned we will be taking each job on an individual basis and will discuss any concerns with you personally.
