Norcroft Energy is a local, well established, family-run electrical & solar pv company, based in Dodworth.

We have a couple of vacancies which would suit someone looking to remain in the Yorkshire area, not wishing to travel away from home.

We are currently looking for a fully qualified electrician, an office administrator and an apprentice electrician. All roles are full time positions. Full details below.

Electrician

£Negotiable

We are looking to recruit an Electrician to join the team to carry out domestic and commercial installations.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrate experience working as a fully qualified trades person
  • Knowledge & understanding of Health & Safety regulations
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Hard working & flexible to meet the company’s reputation

 

Fully qualified electrician accredited with:

  • City & Guilds 2360 – Parts 1 & 2 / equivalent to NVQ level 3
  • City & Guilds 2382 – 17th edition
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2392 inspection & testing / equivalent

 

Desirable Criteria

  • JIB card holder
  • Portable Appliance Testing qualification – City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent
  • Fire Alarm & Emergency lighting experience
  • CCTV & Security Alarm experience
  • Experience of working on Solar PV systems

Office Administrator

£Negotiable

This is an extremely varied role and requires a variety of skills, essentially supporting, the directors and electricians. The purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate computer based systems.

Essential Criteria

  • Confident when communicating with staff at all levels & have an excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, outlook & Dropbox
  • Well organised & be able to prioritise workload
  • You must be a team player with the ability to multi task and work well under pressure
  • Organise the day to day running of the office, work diary & all related office tasks as required
  • Experience updating & managing a customer database to reflect each stage / enquiry of the job
  • Allocate materials ordered to relevant jobs
  • Organise team meetings
  • Hard working & flexible to meet the company’s reputation

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Basic book keeping or budget experience
  • Knowledge & or qualifications of Health & Safety, assistance in compiling RAMS
  • Updating Social Media profiles
